Lindsay Chartier
Lindsay's involvement in barbershop singing began in 1994, when she sang lead with mixed youth quartet in Montreal, QC, Canada.
To say that she considers barbershop a hobby, would be a slight understatement. It is more of a lifestyle, really. She holds membership in the Barbershop Harmony Society, Harmony, Incorporated, and Sweet Adelines International.
She has performed at the International level in both choruses and quartets and has seen some competition success as a quartet singer. She is a three-time International Quartet Champion in Harmony Inc., a Top 10 International Quartet Medalist in Sweet Adelines, and a Rising Star Champion (SAI - 2002).
She directed the award-winning Montreal City Voices, a Harmony, Inc. Chapter, for 8 years before she moved to Texas.
When not directing or singing with her quartet, TITANIUM, she enjoys working with and coaching other quartets and choruses.
Of course, to afford this hobby, she does have a day job. She is currently employed as a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist at Mitchell International in Coppell, TX.
Lindsay lives in Frisco, TX, with her husband (also a barbershopper), Mark Holdeman.
